Dental insurance words are confusing. Here are four you need to know.
The deductible is what you pay first. On PrimeStar, it's fifty dollars, and cleanings don't need it.
Coinsurance is the percent your plan pays, like eighty percent of a filling.
The annual maximum is the most the plan pays in a year, up to thirty-five hundred dollars on Complete.
And a waiting period is how long before coverage kicks in. With PrimeStar, there isn't one.
Coverage levels and maximums increase after year one. Plans, costs and availability vary by state.
